Pastor Mark McGinniss

Greetings: I am Mark McGinniss. I received Christ as my Savior between my junior and senior year of college. I had planned on being a marine biologist but God was pleased to place me in ministry. I served as pastor of the church in which I was saved before teaching the Old Testament at a seminary in Pennsylvania for the past ten years. I have five grown children: (Jeremy, Drew, Ian, Kasey, and Kyle), four daughters-in-law (Kara, Temisa, Salina and Adriana); one son-in-law, Peter; one wife, Joy; and two grand children (Kenna Mae and Jesse Mark); and 0 pets. Joy and I live in Clarks Summit, PA.

My special academic interest is wisdom literature, Hebrew poetry and especially the Song of Songs. I enjoy fishing, scuba diving, snorkeling, kayaking, and reading when I am not doing house projects. I received my Ph.D. fromBaptist Bible Seminary, PA (Old Testament), a Th.M. Baptist Bible Seminary, PA (Old Testament), a M.A.B.S. Dallas Theological Seminary, TX and my B.S. Richard Stockton State College, NJ in marine science.
